Willis and her team have been serving up a variety of French farm-to-table dishes. From potato gnocchi for lunch and chicken paillard for dinner to a smooth specialty cocktail, the menu changes with the seasons. However, if the locals have a customer favorite, expect it to stick around a little longer.

When diners visit new restaurant RM12:20 Bistro in Lake Highlands, executive chef and owner Erin Willis hopes customers “walk in and think they’re somewhere other than Dallas.” They’ll be at the corner of Walnut Hill Lane and Audelia Road, to be exact, next to a Circle K gas station. But forget all that and let yourself believe: This is France.
The Lakeridge Village space that once housed Offshore’s Nextdoor could be Lake Highland’s next date-night spot. Owner and Lake Highlands resident Erin Willis gutted the entire building and re-imagined it as RM 12:20 Bistro.
RM 12:20 not only offers a brunch worth returning to, but will become a Lake Highlands standard for lunch, happy hour, dinner and whatever it wants to serve.
The idea for RM 12:20 is to be a date-night spot. She hopes the gutted and redone restaurant feels like a “fun little bistro in France,” where diners can have “a very simple yet elegant meal.”
